Eligibility to Compete

Any person with a valid car Club Licence and a Level 2S or higher CAMS Licence is eligible to compete. The MSCA does NOT restrict entry to individual members of our 9 clubs. Anyone can compete.

The car has to satisfy the Event Supplementary Regulations (usually located on this web site) which typically means:

  • it has to be safe
  • have an approved fire extinguisher in a secure convenient location
  • have metal tyre valve caps
  • have secondary throttle return springs on cars with Carburettors
  • have secondary bonnet restraints in the case of bonnets hinged at the windscreen

Trophy Eligibility

Trophies are awarded for each round and for the season which runs from January to December. Only members of our 9 member clubs are eligible to win trophies, however they can compete in eligible Marque Sports cars or Non Marque Sports Cars. A list of eligible Marque Sports cars can be found on CAMS web site at camsmanual.com.au

The list of cars the MSCA admits as Marque Sports are shown in the Eligible Cars area on our site. But we stress "you don't have to own an eligible Marque Sports Car or be a member of one of our 9 clubs to compete".
